Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Tao Qing Upgrade Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Tao Qing is a traveling merchant in the land of Shu. Unlike Wu Gang, who focuses on raw materials, Tao Qing specializes in rare accessories, unique armor, and powerful magic. However, to access his full inventory, you must track down 17 unique upgrade items.

Collecting and delivering all 17 items is the only way to unlock the Well Traveled trophy/achievement. Tao Qing moves as you progress through the story. If you cannot find him, check the following "safe" zones:

• Located within the Shu Sanctum, near the central Shrine.
• Relocates to the Refugee Camp in the Mt. Zhenwu outskirts.
• Returns to the Reverent Temple (Ruined Annalum) for the endgame.

To make sure you get all 17 upgrades in a single run, keep these tips in mind:

• Tao Qing items often appear as Gold Orbs (higher rarity than standard items) in world chests.
• If you enter Chapter 4 and have missed an upgrade item from an area that is now locked, check the Donation Box at the Reverent Temple. Occasionally, missable quest items will reappear there.
• You must hand the items over one by one. If you have multiple in your inventory, keep talking to him until he stops asking for "relics of the past."

Once you have achieved the Well Traveled status, Tao Qing becomes the best source for:

• Radiant Red Feathers: Required for +7 to +9 weapon mastery.
• Elite Jade Pendants: Such as the Lifesteal Pendant, which is vital for the final bosses.
• Unique Outfits: Exclusive armor sets like the Silk Traveler gear.
